Have you watch wayang kulit? When is the most recent time you watch it? Frankly speaking, I watch wayang kulit only in TV..in ads of "Ubat Batuk Cap Ibu dan Anak". Here goes the song
"Ada seorang budak yang duka nestapa kerana ibunya sakit...lalu dia pergi mendapatkan ubat....."
The song is quite catchy and has been the trade mark since I was in primary school years ago.

Wayang kulit is the traditional way for our ancestors to be entertained after hard work in paddy field and farm, long before Malaysia and Indonesia become modern developing coutries. It consists of either the black and white or colourful puppets made from paper or cow's skins.

The story's narrator is known as Tok Dalang. He will play and tell stories of Hindu's epic (Ramayana), 'cerita rakyat' and Malay's epics. It will be played in an open area and enable all people to watch it for free. A bright lamp is positioned betweeen Tok Dalang and the white screen as it will creates shadow to the screen. I think that is how motion picture revolutionize as what we see nowadays.. at least we know Asian people are creative since before, aren't we?
